Individual Counselling
Life can feel heavy at times — whether it’s stress, anxiety, old experiences that linger, or simply feeling stuck. Individual counselling gives you a space to pause, reflect, and untangle what’s been weighing on you.
Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface, notice patterns that no longer serve you, and find new ways of moving forward. Some days that might mean talking things through, other days it’s about practicing tools that bring more calm and clarity.
Counselling isn’t about fixing you — it’s about creating space for healing and reconnecting with your own strength. My role is to walk alongside you as you move toward more ease, confidence, and a deeper sense of self.
EMDR
Sometimes the past shows up in the present — in the form of anxiety, painful memories, or reactions that feel bigger than the moment. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a proven approach that helps your brain process those stuck experiences, so they no longer hold the same power over you.
The process doesn’t mean reliving every detail. Instead, EMDR helps your nervous system file the past where it belongs, making room for more calm, balance, and freedom in the present.
Many people find shifts happen more quickly than they expected, with lasting changes in how they think, feel, and respond. EMDR can be especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, and other places where talking alone hasn’t quite brought relief.
It’s about giving your mind and body the chance to heal — so you can move forward feeling lighter, stronger, and more yourself.
Couples
Every relationship has its ups and downs. Even strong couples can find themselves circling the same arguments, feeling disconnected, or struggling to communicate in ways that actually land. Couples counselling is a space to slow down, listen, and be heard — without the pressure of trying to sort it all out alone.
I use the Gottman Method, a research-based approach that helps couples strengthen communication, navigate conflict more effectively, and deepen intimacy. You don’t need to wait for a crisis — many couples come simply wanting to nurture their relationship and keep it strong.
Think of it as relationship maintenance: time set aside to tune up the partnership you value most, so you can feel more supported, connected, and confident moving forward together.
Intensives
Sometimes healing or relationship work needs more than the usual 50 or 80 minutes. Intensives give us extended time together so we can stay with the process instead of stopping just as things start to unfold.
They’re also a great option if you want to make more progress in a shorter amount of time. Rather than spreading the work over months of weekly or bi-weekly sessions, intensives let you dedicate focused time now — creating momentum and clarity that might otherwise take much longer.
Whether for EMDR or couples' work, intensives offer a powerful way to dive deeper, do more in less time, and walk away feeling grounded, lighter, and ready for what’s next.
If this is something you're interested in, let me know and we can talk about whether it might be right for you.

Online/video counselling has become very popular due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a counsellor, I have found it to be a very effective alternative to in-person sessions. I've written a blog about the benefits of online counselling. If you're interested in reading it, head over to the blog section on this website or click here.
